The Company

The idea

It is a personal project for a way of life that combines a passion for outdoor activities with a professional concept to bring people to Lapland to discover its atmosphere of tranquility and well-being, through being outside in the Arctic nature. The purpose of the company is also to give visitors an idea of what the Finnish culture is, through various activities and programs linked to the Lappish traditions and the Arctic wilderness. In order to achieve that, the products are mainly targeted to small groups, from 4 to 6 persons, ensuring personal high quality service and full time availability.

The guide

Hugues Lambert is a professional qualified wilderness guide, having received a guiding diploma diploma from Kuru Institute of Forestry in central Finland. Hugues is French but has spent many years in Finland and has settled with his family in Rovaniemi, the capital of Finnish Lapland. He comes from the French Alps and has a solid background in outdoor activities gained from experiences there, as well as in the Rocky Mountains (US) and all the way to Lake Baikal in Eastern Siberia (Russia). Hugues’ passion is snow and winter related activities; especially long distance skiing cross-country style or just reaching the next peak with snow-shoes to admire the view opening to the wintery wilderness. In the summer, he can guide you to the same breath taking experience with a mountain bike or just simply with slower pace trekking. Thanks to his language skills, Hugues can provide services in French, English, Russian and Finnish.

The challenge

The challenge is to take visitors for authentic experiences in the Arctic. The choice of program varies , from 1 day up to 7 days and is designed to make you not only feel the real atmosphere of Lapland but also to forget for a moment the everyday life and instead enjoy all the magic that the great North has to offer.
